The STEDI Type-X EVO 4" is a compact single-unit driving light built around 10x CREE XP-P LEDs, producing 2,500 tested lumens per light. It's designed for drivers who want genuine auxiliary driving range without the bulk of a full-size spotlight, throwing light up to 580m down the road with 84m of lateral spread into the critical zones at the edge of the road.

The housing is fully submersible to IP68 and rated to run on 12V or 24V systems, with a 30,000-hour LM-80 lumen maintenance rating so brightness holds up over years of use.

Materials & care

Comes with a protective cover, grey and orange fascia rings, and a carrying bag. Rinse the lens after muddy or salty trips and refit the protective cover when the light is not in use.

Sizing & fit

Single 4" light weighing 0.78kg, fitted via the supplied bracket kit and stainless steel fasteners.

How to use

• Mount using the supplied bracket kit and stainless fasteners, angled slightly below the horizon to avoid dazzling oncoming traffic.
• Wire through a relay and fused auxiliary driving light harness rather than directly off a switch.
• Swap between grey and orange fascia rings tool-less to suit your vehicle's trim.
• Fit the supplied protective cover when not driving off-road, e.g. in stop-start city traffic.
