The STEDI ST-X 50" Super Drive LED Light Bar is the largest bar in STEDI's ST-X Super Drive range, with an edge-to-edge bonded lens and a built-in amber/white daytime running light function. It offers full-power and reduced-output modes for regulatory compliance and is E-mark/ECE R112 and R10 certified for road-legal use.

Built around 20 x 15W A-grade reverse-facing LED emitters in a 6063 aluminium extrusion housing with a hard-coated optical-grade Lexan lens, it is rated IP68 for full weatherproofing, giving serious long-range throw for touring and overland vehicles.

Materials & care

Housing is 6063 aluminium extrusion with a hard-coated, optical-grade Lexan lens. Wipe the lens with a soft cloth and clean water; avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the coating.

Sizing & fit

50" (approx. 1,270mm) overall length. Supplied with adjustable side brackets, sliding bottom brackets and brace supports to keep the bar rigid across mounting points at this length.

Compatibility

Suits 9-36V vehicle electrical systems (12V and 24V). DRL function requires wiring to an ignition-switched circuit; the Easy-Fit high beam harness includes HB3/H4 adapters for common high-beam connectors.

How to use

• Mount using the supplied adjustable side brackets, sliding bottom brackets and brace supports for a rigid fit across the full 50" length.
• Wire using the Easy-Fit high beam harness with HB3/H4 adapters, running a fused feed from the battery sized for the higher current draw of this bar.
• Aim the light bar so the beam is level with or slightly below the horizon to avoid dazzling oncoming traffic.
• Use the reduced-output/DRL mode when driving on public roads to remain compliant, and switch to full power for off-road use.
