The STEDI Boost Type-A is an integrated driving light that fits inside your vehicle's factory fog light housing instead of bolting on top of the bumper, keeping the factory look while adding a genuine long-range driving beam. Built around a single 18W CREE XHP50 LED per unit, it also runs as a daytime running light, so one unit does the job of a fog light upgrade and a DRL.

Because it shares its core engine with STEDI's Type-B Boost kit but uses a different bracket profile, Type-A suits a different range of factory fog light mounts. Please confirm your vehicle application with us via WhatsApp before ordering.

Materials & care

Die-cast alloy housing with a UV-stable polycarbonate lens. Wipe the lens clean with a soft cloth and check the Deutsch connectors are fully seated and free of corrosion periodically.

Sizing & fit

Fits into factory fog light mounts using the Type-A bracket profile - a different bracket to the Type-B kit. Please confirm your vehicle fitment with us before ordering.

Compatibility

Uses the same Boost core LED engine as STEDI's Type-B kit, so light output is identical - only the mounting bracket profile differs between the two kits.

How to use

  • Confirm your factory fog light mount uses the Type-A bracket profile before ordering.
  • Remove the factory fog light insert and fit the Boost unit using the supplied Type-A bracket and hardware.
  • Connect via the sealed Deutsch DT connector to your existing fog light wiring.
  • Wire the DRL function according to your local road rules for daytime running lights.
