San Hima's 260W folding solar blanket uses Hybrid Passivated Back Contact (HPBC) cells to reach 24% conversion efficiency. Moving the metal contacts to the back of the cell removes shading losses, so you get more output and better performance in hot conditions. The ETFE coating gives it a non-stick, self-cleaning surface that resists corrosion and stains, and the anti-crack flexible film protects the cells every time you fold and unfold it. It packs into a 490 x 430 x 75mm carry bag and comes with a 20A MPPT controller that charges Lead Acid, AGM, GEL, Calcium and LiFePO4 batteries, with USB ports to keep your phone and tablet topped up.

Sizing & fit

Opens out to 2,425 x 965 x 5mm and folds into a 490 x 430 x 75mm carry bag, so it stores easily behind a seat or in a drawer system when you're not using it.

Compatibility

Anderson-style plugs on all included cables for plug-and-play connections. The MPPT controller supports Lead Acid, AGM, GEL, Calcium and LiFePO4 batteries on 12V or 24V systems, making it suitable for camping, caravanning and overlanding setups.

How to use

• Unfold the blanket fully in direct sun and angle it toward the sun for best output.
• Connect the blanket's Anderson-style plug to the MPPT controller, then connect the controller to your battery.
• Use the alligator clip cable for a quick battery connection, or the 4.5m extension cable to place the blanket in the sun while your vehicle stays in the shade.
• Fold it back into the carry bag when you're done.
