This 20m extension cable allows flexible solar panel placement away from your vehicle. It features a 4mm² conductor cross-section suited to higher-voltage panels (24V nominal and above), where lower operating current keeps resistive losses in check over the longer run. Includes paired red and black conductors with Anderson Grey SB50 connectors on both ends and a closing strap for storage.

Highlights

  • 4mm² conductor keeps resistive losses manageable at 20m on higher-voltage panels
  • Works with any Anderson Grey SB50 equipment, not just Flexopower products
  • Closing strap keeps the cable tidy for transport and storage

Compatibility

Compatible with any solar panel or charge controller fitted with Anderson Grey SB50 connectors. Recommended for 24V nominal panels and above — for 12V nominal panels at this length, the 6mm² version reduces voltage drop.

How to use

  • Connect one end to your solar panel's Anderson Grey SB50 output.
  • Run the cable to your charge controller or power station and connect the other end.
  • Coil and secure with the closing strap for storage between uses.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use this with a standard 12V panel?

It's not recommended — at 20m the voltage drop on 4mm² cable becomes significant for 12V nominal panels. This cable is intended for 24V nominal panels and above; for 12V panels at this length, use the 6mm² version instead.
