Designed for installers and system builders requiring extended reach capabilities, this 100m cable features a 6mm² conductor cross-section, accommodating higher current loads with reduced resistive loss across lengthy installations. The ripcord design enables clean separation of yellow and black conductors for customised termination. Compatible with Flexopower FlexoSun solar panels and FlexoTrack charge controllers, as well as any setup using Anderson SB50 connectors.

Key Features

Brand Flexopower (FlexoLink)
Format 100m roll, unterminated (ripcord)
Cable Cross-Section 6mm²
Conductors Yellow/Black ripcord paired
Connector Compatibility Anderson SB50 grey (not fitted — bare ends for custom termination)
Recommended For Long cable runs, fixed installations and custom solar builds — not recommended for short runs where 4mm² is sufficient
Contents 1 x 100m ripcord cable roll, 6mm² Yellow/Black twin conductor

Amperage rating and weight aren't published on Flexopower's current spec sheet for this cable roll — we haven't estimated them here.

Highlights

  • Thicker 6mm² conductor for higher current loads and reduced resistive loss on long runs
  • Ripcord design separates yellow and black conductors cleanly for custom termination
  • Compatible with Anderson SB50 grey or any connector you choose to terminate with
  • Suited to installers and system builders needing bulk cable for multiple jobs

Compatibility

Works with Flexopower FlexoSun panels and FlexoTrack charge controllers once terminated with Anderson SB50 grey connectors, as well as any other system using compatible connectors. Best suited to long cable runs and fixed installations — for short runs, the 4mm² roll is more economical.

How to use

  • Cut the required length from the roll and separate the yellow and black conductors along the ripcord.
  • Terminate both ends with your chosen connector (e.g. Anderson SB50 grey) to suit your panel and charge controller.
  • Use for longer or higher-current runs where the 4mm² cable would see excessive voltage drop.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between the 4mm² and 6mm² ripcord rolls?

The 6mm² roll has a thicker conductor, which handles higher current and longer runs with less voltage drop than 4mm². For short runs or lower-current setups, the 4mm² roll is the more economical choice.
