The ATEM POWER 12V 30A DC to DC Battery Charger keeps a second battery charged off-grid, drawing from your vehicle's alternator and stepping through a six-stage multi-stage charge profile — standby, pre-charge, constant current, constant voltage, full charge and re-charge. Select the profile that matches your battery (Lead Acid, AGM, Gel, Calcium or LiFePO4) and it applies the correct charging voltages automatically. Reverse polarity, overcharge, short circuit and over-temperature protection are built in.

Compatibility

Works with Lead Acid, AGM, Gel, Calcium and LiFePO4 battery chemistries between 90–900Ah, and with smart/variable-voltage alternators via the ACC line.

How to use

• Wire the charger between your starter battery and auxiliary battery using the included 10AWG cables.
• Select the battery profile that matches your auxiliary battery — Lead Acid, AGM, Gel, Calcium or LiFePO4.
• On smart-alternator vehicles, connect the ACC line to the ignition to enable lower input voltage operation.
• Use 10AWG cable for runs under 1m, 8AWG for 1–5m, and 6AWG for runs over 5m.
