The ATEM POWER 12V 20A DC to DC Battery Charger is a compact dual-battery solution for off-grid camping, charging from your vehicle's alternator or up to 20A of solar through a built-in MPPT regulator. Multi-stage charging (standby, pre-charge, constant current, constant voltage, full charge, re-charge) applies the correct profile for Lead Acid, AGM, Gel, Calcium or LiFePO4 batteries, and reverse polarity, overload, over-temperature and short circuit protection are all built in.

Compatibility
Works with Lead Acid, AGM, Gel, Calcium and LiFePO4 battery chemistries between 60–600Ah. Suitable for dual battery setups in 4WDs, caravans, RVs, campers, trailers and campervans, and compatible with smart/variable-voltage alternators via the ACC line.
How to use
- Wire the charger between your starter battery (or solar array) and auxiliary battery, following the wiring diagram in this listing rather than the printed manual, which may cover an older model.
- Select the battery profile that matches your auxiliary battery — Lead Acid, AGM, Gel, Calcium or LiFePO4.
- On smart-alternator vehicles, connect the ACC wire to the ignition to enable lower input voltage operation.
- Use 12AWG cable for runs under 1m, 8AWG for 1–5m, and 6AWG for runs over 5m.
