Highlights

  • IP68-rated casing for reliable outdoor and vehicle-mounted installation
  • German-engineered, RoHS compliant
  • Built-in deep discharge, overvoltage and undervoltage protection
  • Low 4mA idle consumption

Compatibility

12V lead acid battery systems only (GEL, AGM, flooded) — not suitable for LiFePO4 batteries. Compatible with panels up to 30Voc.

How to use

  • Wire the regulator between your solar panel and 12V lead acid battery, respecting the maximum 30Voc panel input.
  • Use cable no larger than 10mm² cross-section for the terminal connections.
  • The regulator manages float, main and boost charge stages automatically — no manual adjustment needed.

Frequently asked questions

Can this regulator be used with a lithium (LiFePO4) battery?

No — this Ecoterm regulator is designed for lead acid batteries (GEL, AGM, flooded) with charge voltages set for that chemistry. For LiFePO4 systems, use an MPPT controller rated for lithium charging, such as the FlexoTrack 30A.
