The STEDI 4 Connector (Quad) Plug & Play SMART HARNESS™ is a universal high-beam-triggered wiring harness for running up to four driving lights or a light bar from a single loom. A built-in microprocessor automatically detects whether your vehicle's high-beam circuit is positive or negative switched, so the harness triggers correctly without guesswork.

With DTP Deutsch connectors, heavy 10AWG cabling and dual 80A relays, it's built for driving lights that draw more current than a typical universal kit can handle — all without splicing into your factory wiring.

Compatibility

How to use

  • Mount the relay pack in a dry area of the engine bay, close to the battery and high-beam feed.
  • Connect the harness to your high-beam wiring — the built-in microprocessor detects positive or negative switching automatically.
  • Plug your driving lights or light bar into the DTP connectors — up to 4 lights per harness.
  • Test that all lights trigger correctly with high beam before securing the cabling.

Will this work on my vehicle's high beam circuit?

The harness has a built-in microprocessor that automatically detects whether your vehicle uses a positive or negative switched high-beam circuit, so it will trigger correctly on either type.

How many lights can I connect?

The harness is fitted with 4 x DTP Deutsch connectors, allowing up to four driving lights (or a light bar with a DTP plug) to run from the one loom, within the 70A @ 12VDC max load rating.

Do I need a separate piggy-back adapter for my headlights?

Not always — this harness connects directly to your high-beam feed. If your vehicle's headlight connector needs an adapter to tap in cleanly, pair this harness with the correct STEDI vehicle-specific piggy-back adapter, sold separately.
